Jakob Hülsen GmbH & Co. KG manufactures reducers made of aluminum, copper and copper-nickel in various designs in accordance with ASTM B361, DIN 2616-1 DIN 2616-2 and DIN 86089. Due to the different properties, the reducers are used, for example, in shipbuilding, in plant and apparatus construction, in tank truck construction, in the field of heating and sanitary facilities as well as in the field of plant construction in general.

The seamless concentric ASTM B361 reducers aluminium grades were cold formed and then heat treated to AD Leaflet HP-7/4 and ANSI B16.9 tolerances. The seamless concentric ones are Reducers suitable for processing in shipbuilding, plant construction and apparatus engineering, especially in the field of process engineering butt welding ends. The advantages are the low own weight, a very good sea water resistance and the temperature application range from -270°C to +80°C.
