Reductions made of aluminum, copper and copper-nickel

Jakob Hülsen GmbH & Co. KG produces reducers made of aluminum, copper and copper-nickel in different designs according to ASTM B361, DIN 2616-1 DIN 2616-2 and DIN 86089. Due to their different properties, the reducers are used, for example, in shipbuilding, in plant and apparatus engineering, in tanker vehicle construction, in the field of heating and sanitary systems, and in plant engineering in general.

Reductions Aluminum, seamless & concentric, heat treated

The seamless concentric reducers made of aluminum according to ASTM B361 were cold formed and then heat treated according to AD-Merkblatt HP-7/4 and tolerances according to ANSI B16.9. Weld preparation was carried out in accordance with ANSI B16.9. The seamless concentric reducers are suitable for processing in shipbuilding, plant and equipment construction, especially in the field of process engineering. The advantages are the low weight, very good seawater resistance and the temperature range from -270°C to +80°C.

Reductions Aluminum, seamless & eccentric, heat treated

The seamless eccentric reducers made of aluminum according to ASTM B361 were cold-formed and then heat-treated according to AD-Merkblatt HP-7/4 and tolerances according to ANSI B16.9. Due to the high corrosion resistance and the temperature application range from -270°C up to +250°C, the seamless, concentric reducers made of copper with cylindrical ends are suitable for processing as welded parts in sanitary and heating systems in buildings, ships and related applications. The reducers are manufactured according to DIN 2616-2, cold formed and the front edges are unmachined.
